Australia's largest and premier Aquathon keeps getting bigger and better and 2010 is shaping up to be another fantastic event - join an expected 1500+ field for a fun, safe 'splash n dash' to celebrate Australia Day. Get active, support our call for charity, and make it a unique and fun way kick start your Australia Day celebrations..

Tuesday 26th January 2010- Wollongong Harbour.

This fun swim and run community fitness event is held at the picturesque Wollongong harbour (80km South Sydney), and kick starts Wollongong's hugely popular Australia Day celebrations. 2010 will be the 12th edition of this amazing event that appeals to participants of all ages and standards.

With a choice of three events featuring the Kidz Aquafun, Short Aqua and Long Aqua, it brings together an electric blend of hundreds of kids, families, first timers and even International elite athletes. Participants can opt to enter in their individual age category or team up with a friend or family member in one of the many tag team categories.

Reknown for it's valued entry, spectacular location, attention to safety, excellent services, thousands of dollars worth of prizes and barrel draws, carnival atmosphere, a team of brilliant volunteers, charity support and much more, its no wonder this unique appeals to a growing field.

Aquathon For Charity

Help us raise funds for preferred charity Anglicare (Illawarra services) or fund raise for your personal charity of choice. In 2009 a record $15,000+ plus was raised by manyof our amazing participants benefiting charities Anglicare and McGrath Foundation among them. Aquathon for charity in 2010, and help us raise much needed funds for our valued charities. (Refer to tab 'Aquathon for charity'.
