The Australia Day Illawarra Aquathon is proud of its fund raising initiatives which to date have raised over $45,000 for charities as Anglicare, McGrath Foundation and our service providers.
A huge thank you to many of our generous participants whom helped raise over $14,000 in 2009. Let's make 2010 an even greater success.
How Do I 'Aquathon' for Charity?
The Australia Day Illawarra Aquathon has partnered with Australia's largest online fund raising site Every Day Hero to provide an online fundraising webpage for each participant. In just minutes you can build your own page and approach friends, family and work colleagues for a donation by emailing around the unique link of your webpage. Each donation is recorded on your page along with any message of support from your sponsors. It's easy, fun and you can make your own unique profile.

Mail/Fax entries
- Donations accepted and will be forwarded to 'Anglicare' whom will mail out receipts within 3-4 weeks of event close.

Anglicare has three family educators who work with the parents and children in their homes:
- to build the skills of the parents to parent effectively
- to assist in developing positive relationships between the parents and children
