NEW START TIME, NEW TRANSITION VENUE- MORE SPACE, MORE SAFE, AGES GO TO 13 YEARS, JUST AS MUCH FUN!!

Hugely popular and crowd favourite, the ‘Kids Aqua’ is just for kids 6-13’s years of age and draws our largest cheers.

Hundreds take part and we go all out to make it a safe and fun experience.

Kids distances

  • 10-13’s – 200m swim + 2km run: 10.10am start
  • U10’s- 120m swim + 2km run: 10.30am start

Do the whole event or split the distance as a ‘tag team’
 Parents can tag along and help U10’s too.
Fully supported by our awesome lifesavers, run marshals and volunteers.

Awesome finisher medals, fully supported, age awards and give aways, and we go out all to make it safe and super fun.

At Aquathon, we believe that every child deserves to experience the thrill of swimming and running in a safe, supportive, and fun environment that celebrates their achievements.

With dedicated lifeguards ensuring safety in the swim, to the well signed and course marshals on the run, along with all key support services, we go all out to make the Kids Aqua super fun and safety focused.

NEW 2026 EVENT SITE

With the popularity of the kids aqua, we have moved to a new site, close to swim start, on a flat, grassy area as marked on the event maps. The distance/s remain though part of the run is on the sand. The same run turn applies as per previous years.

 

The new site offers more space away from the busy and at time congested main area transition, with easier layout, that close to the swim start.

This requires a later start time with kids aqua the final (and best) event of the morning.
