HOW TO REGISTER
How to enter?
Online entry is quick and easy.
Select the enter now button and you will be directed to a online registration form (Register Now).
Individual entry (you can add additional people as family members to enter and pay in one transaction) for the Fun run or Aquathon events. Parents are to complete the form for children.
Teams are Aquathon entries, one person swims and the other is the runner. One fee per team.
Check if you qualify for a special discount (Family, 65 years+ or multiple event).
Sanctioning/Insurance fee: All non triathlon Australia members are required to pay a small fee added to each entry. Fun Run/Kids/Mini Aqua $1, Short Aqua $2, Long Aqua $3.50 (Individual or team same fee).
Once you complete the online form and pay, you will be sent a confimation email, and receipt of payment. The confirmation email will link to your registration.

LATE ENTRY*– If you enter from 24/1/2024 to anytime before race start you are classified as a late entry. Same entry process but collect your time chip at the late entry table on event day.

ENTRY TERMS & POLICIES
Event Cancellation
Event Cancellation Policy
Aquathon is proposed to be held, unless it is deemed to unsafe by the event organisers and in strict consultation with local authorities. The event is planned to proceed under most conditions as per wind, rain and subject to strict risk protocols. As per the event waiver certain conditions may make cancellation the only option.
As a single day event Aquathon takes many months of planning and cannot be swapped to another day at the last minute.
If conditions pose a high risk to participant safety, the event may be cancelled at the last minute. This is typically decided on event morning and communicated on social media channels. If conditions require cancellation on event morning, there will be no re-run of the event and all entry fees are forfeited for that year.
This is to cover the extensive pre-paid event approvals, services and staffing costs, along with donations to volunteer groups, that are not refundable to the event.
Refund Policy
The following refund fees are applicable for cancellations you request, depending on when the request is received.
Entry fees are refundable as per
1) Up to eight weeks prior to the event 50% of the entry fee will be retained to cover administration.
2) 4-8 weeks prior to the event 25% refundable.
3) Less than four weeks no refund applies.
Fees will be processed by Register Now and an item will appear on your statement showing funds being debited by Register Now.
TRANSFER
- Entry is non-transferable unless with special exemption in writing and only up to 10/1/2024 with a $20 transfer fee.
EVENT POLICIES AND PRACTICES
The Event policies and management practices ensures high professional standards in the delivery of the Event are maintained, whilst prioritising safety and reducing hazards to swimmers and personnel involved in the Event.
EVENT WAIVER AND ENTRY TERMS
Please ensure you read, understand and accept the event waiver and terms of entry as detailed on the online entry form prior to accepting entry and payment.
